Research Interests:
My research focuses on image classification and registration. I am involved in the projection on photodynamic therapy (PDT) for prostate cancer. Novel multimodality molecular imaging techniques are under development to assess the PDT efficacy in mice. As a mouse body is flexible and deformable, I am developing non-rigid registration methods for serial MR images. I am also developing image classification algorithms for this application.
CV Overview:
I received my B.S. degree in Automation and M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China ( Hefei, China) in 1999 and 2002, respectively. I joined the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Case Western Reserve University in 2002 and received my second M.S. in Biomedical Engineering in 2005. I am currently a Ph.D. student in the Multimodality Image Analysis Laboratory at the Case Center for Imaging Research.
