Research Interests:
Currently I am involved in the PET imaging studies of the woodchuck model of a hepatitis B virally induced hepatocelluar carcinoma. My research interests include mathematical modelings, RNA and histology analysis and imaging processing. I am also working on a mesencymal stem cell (MSCs) project where the human sodium iodide symporter reporter gene is introduced into human stem cells using a retroviral vector in order to image the biodistribution and persistance of infused stem cells long-term in vivo. My research interests also include biomaterials, drug and gene delivery for cancer treatment as well as tissue engineering.

CV Overview:
I received my undergraduate degree from the Applied Chemistry Department of the University of Science and Technology of China ( Hefei, China), and my Master of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from National University of Singapore (NUS). I joined Case in 2003 for my PhD study at the Biomedical Engineering Department.
