All imaging projects in the CCIR must first be approved through the office of the CCIR Scientific Director Dr. Chris Flask.
Please start the approval process as follows.
Step 1: Download and edit the appropriate Imaging Request Form
Standard Imaging Study Request Form (Excel) For funded research
Pilot Imaging Study Request Form (Word Doc) For unfunded pilot studies
Step 2: Download and complete the IACUC imaging form if animals are used
IACUC Imaging Form (Word Doc)
Step 3: Email your request, including both forms as attachements to Dr. Flask (Email Dr Flask)
The Approval Process
The director will contact you with either a determination (approved/not approved), or to request additional information pending a determination.
If your request is approved, the new project will be added to the web-accessible CCIR Database, along with you as PI, and those coinvestigators who you wish to give access to your project. This will allow you to schedule imaging sessions, access your data, and otherwise manage your study.
Your access to the CCIR database will be through your CASE username and password, and will be limited to only those projects on which you are registered as a principal or co-investigator.
